Daylily and Peony Beds.

Rock and Crevice Garden: Unique rock formations house resilient plants that thrive in challenging conditions, showcasing both the strength and creativity of nature.

Wabanaki Healing Garden: Honoring Indigenous Knowledge and Tradition
Established in fall 2020, the Wabanaki Healing Garden is a tribute to the deep wisdom and heritage of Indigenous communities. More than just a garden, it is a healing space where visitors can learn about the cultural significance of medicinal and edible plants in Indigenous life.
The Wabanaki Healing Garden was designed with multiple goals:
Educational Opportunities: Informing visitors about Indigenous plant use and knowledge.
Healing and Reflection: Providing a peaceful sanctuary for reflection and emotional healing.
Community Engagement: Supporting community-led workshops, walks, and other programs.
Spanning approximately 300 m², the garden includes:
Wheelchair-accessible pathways and benches for a welcoming, inclusive space.
Informational signage about each plant’s historical and cultural importance.
Native and Cultivated Plantings: Carefully selected plants that hold significance as medicines and foods in Indigenous traditions.
