Nova Scotia Blog #11

We are planning to go the culture center here in Truro nova Scotia. The land of the mikmaq people.

After that we traveled to Halifax and viewed the boardwalk and explored an old war ship called the HMS SackVille.

This ship was of Norwegian design for hunting whales. It was converted to a warship to destroy German submarines.

Those barrels were intended to destroy the submarines as those are explosive. guns on front and back. Engine room. Wheel house.

Next is to visit the acadia university and take a tour with Ashley's friend. We took the tour and it was great, lovely campus. Has a certain comfort there and sense of community.

Once we were finished there we started our journey to Sydney cape Breton Island.
